Automation Engineer - Power Automate and Python Development Lead

As an Automation Engineer specializing in Power Automate and Python Development, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, designing automation strategies, and developing efficient process automations. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust applications using Python, developing automated workflows with Microsoft Power Automate, and collaborating with stakeholders to integrate user-facing solutions. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting workflow processes, staying updated on automation trends, and providing technical support to internal users. Key Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred) - 5-7 years of experience in Python/Automation tool Development and Workflow Management - Proficiency in Python libraries and frameworks, software development, and coding in other automation languages - Knowledge of front-end technologies, database languages, and frameworks/libraries - Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze business processes for workflow solutions - Excellent communication skills and experience in agile development environments - Strong technical proficiency in SQL, ML, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Workflow Automation, API Integration, and data visualization Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in automation platforms like Automation Anywhere, Ignio, MyWizard - Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Python - Training in machine learning and/or artificial intelligence - Subject Matter Expertise in data architecture/engineering/operations/reporting within Life Sciences/Pharma industry - Experience with cloud-based automation and DevOps practices Working Environment: - Hybrid work model (2-3 days/week) based in Bengaluru, India - Ability to work across different time zones and regions as per demand If you are looking for a challenging role that allows you to leverage your automation skills in a dynamic global environment, this position at Astellas may be the perfect fit for you.
