Automation Engineer

Role: Specialist Control center automation

Job purpose

As part of the Global Control Centre team reporting to the Group Lead Global Control

Centre, the Automation Specialist is responsible for developing, supporting and

improving automation within our Control Centre application.

You will work closely with the entire Control Centre team to ensure the secure and

continuous functioning of automated rules and thus business continuity. Your

responsibilities include developing, supporting and improving automated workflows and

rules by analysing information using knowledge from Control Center operations. In

addition, you are responsible for the stability and continuous operation of such rules in

an operational environment.

Key accountabilities

• Develop, deploy and continuously improve automated workflows in our Control

Center application.

• Build meaningful automation and leverage it with diverse information to support

operational efficiency.

• Collect performance metrics to ensure continuous operation in the Control

Center

• Understand business processes and develop automation
• Continuously support and analyse the performance of automated workflows

Career / Job experience

• Experience in working in global organizations
• Strong analytical and development skills in Java, Azure Streaming Analytics
• 6 years’ experience of working in the wind industry with a strong focus on

efficiency and operations

Education and qualification

• Formal qualifications in an Engineering, Science (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• Excellent English language skills
• Proven experience with different Programming languages
• Skills in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Azure Streaming Analytic.
• High-level proficiency in coding (Java)
• Strong analytical skills and experience in operational efficiency.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships between Automation and Operation.
• Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on precision and speed. • Experience in wind industry is a plus
