Automation Engineer

Location:

• Develop Functional Specifications for automation projects.
• Design hardware and software architecture for control systems.
• Program PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and prepare detailed specifications.
• Perform hardware configuration, panel testing, software setup, and system integration.
• Execute, test, and validate automation systems.
• Prepare operating manuals and documentation.
• Deliver automation training to customer teams.
• Conduct onsite testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning (international travel required).

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation roles, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of food/dairy processing equipment; experience in powder handling preferred.
• Proficient with PLCs (Siemens or Rockwell), SCADA systems (Aveva, Ignition), and Microsoft SQL Server (stored procedures, reporting).
• Experience with MES systems, virtualization, and industrial network integration.
• Working knowledge of ISA-S88 and S95 is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
