Automation Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer specializing in mobile testing with TESTIM and Tosca, your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated mobile test cases. You will be tasked with building robust and scalable test automation workflows for native, hybrid, or web-based mobile applications. Collaboration with developers, QA analysts, product managers, and DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines will be crucial. Additionally, performing cross-platform mobile testing on iOS and Android with a focus on test reusability, maintainability, and performance is essential. You will be responsible for analyzing automation test failures, reporting defects, and supporting root cause investigations. Active participation in Agile ceremonies and contribution to sprint deliverables and test strategy discussions will be expected. Keeping automation assets updated with evolving features, user flows, and device/platform updates is another key aspect of this role. Mandatory skills for this position include expertise in Test Automation using Java Selenium, JavaScript, or TypeScript along with proficiency in TESTIM and Tosca. Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms is necessary, while experience with CI/CD processes is an added advantage. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in test automation, with a minimum of 2 years using TESTIM. A solid understanding of mobile application testing concepts and automation best practices is required. Experience with testing across iOS and Android platforms, familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, and working with CI/CD tools are essential. Strong skills in test case design, test data handling, and using defect management tools like JIRA and TestRail are expected. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams are vital. Nice-to-have skills include experience with mobile testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Kobiton. Familiarity with additional frameworks such as Appium, XCUITest, or Espresso, understanding of API testing, backend validation, and exposure to AI-powered test creation in TESTIM would be beneficial for this role.
