Automation Engineer III

You are a skilled JavaScript Automation Tester who will be a valuable addition to our dynamic team. Your main responsibility will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the high quality and reliability of our software products. You will closely collaborate with developers, quality assurance engineers, and product managers to identify test requirements and automate test cases using JavaScript-based testing frameworks. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions while utilizing your expertise in JavaScript and automation testing. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts utilizing JavaScript-based testing frameworks like Cypress or Protractor. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze software requirements, design, implement, and execute automated test suites to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of web applications. Regression testing will be conducted to ensure software stability and identify any potential issues. A basic understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing process is essential. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting defects using issue tracking systems, participating in code reviews, and staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in automation testing. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - 3-5 years of proven experience in automated testing using JavaScript and relevant testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Protractor). - Proficiency in JavaScript programming and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation. - Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities. - Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
