Automation Engineer

• Executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.
• Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects.
• Verifies fixes. Documents testing according to required procedures.
• Familiar with software development cycle (tech stack: React and Java) and quality assurance methodologies.
• May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans.

Required skills

• Proficiency in programming languages (eg, Java, Python, JavaScript) and testing tools (eg, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

• Minimum 8+ years experience in Web, Mobile and SOA / API testing and automation
• Good Hands-on experience with Java.
• Good Hands-on experience with test automation with Selenium.
• Good Experience in testing of Sales Force (Sales, Opportunity Management, Account Management) Modules.
• Good experience in CPQ (Configure, Price and Quote) quoting and renewal sales opportunity management
• Good Experience in Order Management in Oracle EBS and SAP.
• Good Experience in API Testing using Postman
• Good exposure to retail domain.
• Good exposure on Service virtualization.
• Domian Knowledge on Oracle Fusion Finance Modules- General Ledger(GL), Account Payables(AP), Account Receivables(AR), Fixed Assets, Projects.
• Should have knowledge on Testing Concepts and experience on Integration Testing.
• Good to have SQL

Basic Responsibilities:

• Should have strong co-ordination, communication & reporting, analytical skills
• Candidates must have applied their knowledge of testing processes to own outcomes.
• At least 8+ years of experience building test strategy and test Design
• At least 5+ years of experience in test execution analysis & reporting.
• Create test analysis report for the assigned test scope.
• Strong Functional Automation of Web, Mobile and APIs
• Should have experience in Agile and Devops methodology
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Proven experience with global delivery models including handling onsite calls and coordination for large offshore teams.
• Implement specific activities of the Defect Prevention Plan
• Expertise in test estimations and proposal evaluation.

Additional Value added

• Experience in UI automation frameworks Playwright-Typescript
• Knowledge of cloud architecture/services aws/azure
• Automation solution design and code reviews.
