Automation Engineer Appium

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based automated test scripts using Appium. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test cases with sufficient assertions. It will be your duty to ensure that Automation Test results are delivered on time for releases, adhering to release timelines. Additionally, you will analyze test results to detect system bugs and report them, troubleshoot and debug Mobile App automation tests, and enhance test execution processes for improved efficiency and accuracy. Your role will also involve bringing best practices and standards for the test automation framework, staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation. You will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in automation with a strong command of Java. Familiarity with tools/frameworks such as TestNG, Page Object Model, Selenium, Appium, Maven, and knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Docker, Git, Jenkins are essential. Hands-on experience in executing tests in cloud infrastructure like Browserstack/Lambdatest, proficiency in test case creation, execution, maintenance, and framework development are required. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
