Automation Consultant

As an experienced Order-to-Cash (O2C) Automation Strategy Consultant at our SaaS company, your role will involve designing a comprehensive automation strategy for the Order-to-Cash implementation project. Your goal will be to streamline O2C workflows and enhance efficiency through automation solutions like AI/ML or RPA. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes and pinpoint areas where automation can drive both immediate improvements and long-term transformation. Importantly, your focus will be on delivering detailed strategic recommendations and an automation roadmap. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Assess Current O2C Processes:** Map and evaluate end-to-end Order-to-Cash workflows to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and bottlenecks. - **Identify Quick-Win Automations:** Pinpoint opportunities for rapid implementation of automation solutions to achieve immediate efficiency gains. - **Develop Long-Term Automation Roadmap:** Create a phased automation roadmap for the O2C function, aligning with business goals and incorporating advanced solutions. - **Evaluate Tools & Technologies:** Review existing technology stack and recommend enhancements or new tools to complement automation efforts. - **Stakeholder Workshops & Discovery:** Conduct workshops and sessions with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and drive stakeholder buy-in. - **Strategic Recommendations:** Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations, prepare detailed documentation, and develop business case justifications for initiatives. - **Advisory and Collaboration:** Act as a trusted advisor on O2C process best practices, collaborate with internal project teams, and provide guidance on change management approaches. **Qualifications Required:** - **Automation Expertise:** Proven experience in leading automation initiatives in enterprise environments, preferably in a SaaS company. Stay updated with modern automation technologies and best practices. - **Automation Awareness:** Strong background in designing automation solutions for process improvement, particularly in finance or sales operations. - **Consulting & Facilitation Skills:** Demonstrated consulting experience with excellent facilitation skills to lead workshops and drive discussions across business functions. - **Communication & Documentation:** Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear process documentation and tailoring communication to technical and non-technical audiences. - **Additional Qualifications:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field preferred. Certifications in process improvement, project management, or specific technologies are advantageous.
