As an Electrical Drafting & Design Support, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed AutoCAD drawings based on sketches, blueprints, or verbal instructions. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating accurate AutoCAD drawings based on sketches, blueprints, or verbal instructions. - Assisting in drafting design concepts, plans, and layouts for various projects. - Revising and updating existing drawings as per instructions and feedback. You will collaborate closely with senior designers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements, coordinate design efforts between various departments, and contribute fresh ideas in team discussions and brainstorming sessions. It is essential to ensure that all drawings are accurate and adhere to company standards and guidelines. You will conduct basic checks for drawing accuracy and completeness before submission. In addition to drafting tasks, you will also be responsible for maintaining project files, records, and archives in an organized manner, as well as assisting in the preparation of design-related documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Continuous learning and skill development are key aspects of this role. You will be expected to improve your knowledge of AutoCAD features and functions, learn industry-specific standards and best practices in design drafting, and stay updated with new tools, features, and versions of AutoCAD software. Furthermore, you will provide technical support to the team for any design or drawing-related queries and assist in minor design modifications and adjustments as required.
