AutoCAD Electrical

As a Drafting & Design Support, your primary responsibility will be to create accurate and detailed AutoCAD drawings based on sketches, blueprints, or verbal instructions. You will assist in drafting design concepts, plans, and layouts for various projects, as well as revise and update existing drawings according to instructions and feedback. Collaborating closely with senior designers, engineers, and architects, you will work towards understanding project requirements and coordinating design efforts between various departments. Your active participation in team discussions and brainstorming sessions will be key to contributing fresh ideas and insights. Quality and accuracy are crucial aspects of your role. You will be responsible for ensuring that all drawings are precise, adhere to company standards and guidelines, and undergo basic checks for accuracy and completeness before submission. In terms of project documentation, you will maintain project files, records, and archives in an organized manner, as well as assist in preparing design-related documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Continuous learning and skill development are encouraged in this role. You will be expected to enhance your knowledge of AutoCAD features and functions, learn industry-specific standards and best practices in design drafting, and stay updated with new tools, features, and versions of AutoCAD software. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the team for any design or drawing-related queries and assist in minor design modifications and adjustments as required.
