Meridian Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced AutoCAD draftsman for creating, modifying, and reviewing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software for projects in chemical or pharma manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Convert rough sketches, hand drawings, or design concepts into precise technical drawings.
Prepare architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drawings as per project requirements.
Assist engineers, architects, and designers in developing accurate drawings and documentation.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, or field modifications.
Maintain drawing records and ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Maintain version control and drawing revisions for all projects
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of drawings.
Communicate effectively with engineers, architects, and contractors to clarify design intent.
Support site teams by providing updated drawings and technical clarifications.
Organize and archive project drawings and CAD files systematically.
Stay updated on AutoCAD features, drafting standards, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of
process pipelines & machinery installation or electrical drawings
.
Ability to prepare
detailed shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings
.
Understanding of
dimensioning, tolerances, scales, and annotations
.
Basic understanding of
engineering concepts or manufacturing methods
.
Ability to interpret
sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications
.
Maintaining systematic records of drawing versions and project files.
Ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders
