The AutoCAD Engineer (Electrical Panel) is responsible for creating detailed electrical design drawings, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical (or similar software). The role involves close coordination with design, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of electrical panel drawings as per project requirements and industry standards. Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for electrical control panels, power distribution panels, and MCC (Motor Control Center) panels. Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs) , schematic diagrams , GA (general arrangement) drawings , and wiring layouts . Ensure drawings comply with project specifications , electrical codes , and customer standards . Work closely with design engineers to implement technical feedback and design revisions. Maintain and update drawing databases, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and documentation.
