AutoCAD Designer

As a CAD Designer at our company, you will be responsible for creating 2D technical drawings in AutoCAD and 3D component models using Siemens NX. Your role will involve developing detailed drawings for brass turned, forged, and machined components, ensuring they meet design specifications and are manufacturing-ready. Collaborating closely with production, toolroom, and quality departments is essential to ensure the practicality and feasibility of your designs. Key Responsibilities: - Design 2D technical drawings in AutoCAD and 3D component models using Siemens NX - Develop detailed drawings for brass turned, forged, and machined components - Interpret design specifications, customer samples, or sketches into manufacturing-ready designs - Work closely with production, toolroom, and quality departments to ensure practical and feasible designs - Maintain design records, drawing revisions, and documentation as per ISO/industry standards - Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, tooling ease, and manufacturability Qualifications Required: - Diploma in a relevant field is required - Minimum 1 year of experience in AutoCAD is required This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as paid time off.
