Job Description

AutoCAD & SolidWorks Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

Prepare
2D drawings
and
3D models
using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Create assembly drawings, part drawings, fabrication drawings, and layout plans.
Modify and update existing designs as per project requirements.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand design needs.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications.
Maintain documentation of drawings, revisions, and design data.
Assist in preparing BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
Support the production team by clarifying technical questions related to drawings.

Required Skills & Competencies

1-3 years of hands-on experience with
AutoCAD
and
SolidWorks
drafting.
Strong understanding of mechanical/industrial design principles.
Ability to create detailed and accurate technical drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and manufacturing standards (preferred).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
