Australian Accountant

We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join our team and contribute to the product development, testing, support & product management. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable candidate with experience in Australian accounting. A candidate with experience in SMSF account preparation and review is preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Test Data Preparation a. Add comprehensive test data in accounting software. b. Prepare the use cases for software testing. 2. Software Release Testing a. Replicate customer support related queries. b. Perform the software release testing. c. Develop test scenarios, test cases, and execute test cycles. d. Validate outcomes, identify defects, and work with internal teams for issue resolution. 3. Collaboration with Different Team a. Collaborate with different teams about the issues encountered during software testing. b. Suggest the fixes required to resolve the issues encountered. c. Understand the requirements from the business team. d. Support production rollout and post-release validation. 4. Specifications Preparation a. Prepare specification documents to enhance the software and convey the ideas with team. b. Document high level user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. 5. Skills & Qualifications a. Good understanding of Accounting, Taxation and financial reporting. b. Strong analytical and documentation skills. c. Good communication and stakeholder management abilities. d. Candidates with hands-on experience in SMSF administration software (like Class Super, BGL, Supermate etc.) are preferred.
