Audit Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in conducting

  statutory audits, internal audits, and surprise audits

  under the guidance of seniors.
• Perform

  vouching, ledger scrutiny, sampling, and verification of supporting documents

  .
• Assist in

  stock, cash, and fixed-asset physical verification

  at client locations.
• Help prepare

  working papers, audit schedules, and documentation

  as per firms audit methodology.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  Pursuing or completed B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter or any equivalent commerce background.

• Knowledge Base:

  Basic understanding of accounting principles, audit procedures, GST, TDS, and financial statements.

• Technical Skills:

• Good command over

  MS Excel

  , Word, and basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally/ERP) will be an added advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
  

• Work Approach:

• Comfortable travelling to client locations for audits.
  
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
  

• Experience:

  Freshers are welcome. Prior internship or exposure in accounting/audit will be an added advantage.
