Audit Assistant

- **Role Overview:** As an Audit Assistant at the CA Firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and review of financial statements, audit reports, GST returns, and TDS-related tasks. Your responsibilities will also include communicating with clients and colleagues to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. - **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and audit reports. - Support in the preparation and filing of GST returns, adhering to GST regulations. - Handle various TDS-related tasks such as calculation, verification, and filing of TDS returns. - Prepare reports and summaries of audit activities, highlighting areas for improvement in accounting practices, TDS, and GST management. - Aid in the preparation of tax filings and submissions related to TDS and GST. - Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management to resolve issues or discrepancies. - Stay updated on accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other tax regulations to ensure compliance. - Perform any additional tasks delegated by senior auditors or management. - **Qualifications & Skills:** - Only CA qualification is required. - 1-2 years of experience in an audit role, preferably within a CA firm. - Proficiency in Tally software and basic computer applications (MS Excel, Word, etc.). - Knowledge and experience in handling GST and TDS processes. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. - Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, GST, and TDS compliance. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
