Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Audit Responsibilities

Handling
statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and concurrent audits
Verification of
books of accounts, vouchers, bank statements, and supporting records
Preparation of
audit working papers, schedules, and audit files
Drafting
audit queries, observations, and reports
under guidance
Assistance in
finalisation of accounts
Coordination with clients for
data, explanations, and closures

Taxation & Compliance Responsibilities

GST returns
preparation and filing (GSTR-1, 3B, 9/9C where applicable)
TDS returns
preparation and filing (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
Income-tax return filing
for individuals, firms, and companies
Handling
GST notices, scrutiny, and reconciliations
Basic exposure to
assessments, replies, and departmental follow-ups
Monitoring statutory compliance calendars

Desired Skills

Sound understanding of
Accounting, Auditing, GST, and Income Tax
Practical knowledge of
Tally, Excel, GST portals, and Income-tax portal
Ability to work independently on regular compliances
Good command on
reconciliations and documentation
Client-handling ability with professional communication
Strong time management, especially during filing rush periods

Candidate Profile

Minimum 3 - 6 years of CA firm experience preferred
CA Inter students with good practical exposure highly preferred
Serious about long-term growth in
audit and taxation domain
B.Com/M.Com candidate wiling to work for long term is preferred
