As an Assistant Engineer in the Engineering Department, you will be playing a crucial role in supporting the Engineering Manager to ensure the seamless operations of daily Engineering activities. Your responsibilities will include setting up, configuring, operating, and maintaining a diverse range of electronic equipment used in outside broadcasting production, such as HD Video, UHD Video, Audio, and Communication Equipment. We are seeking a skilled Sound and Light Technician to oversee and manage all sound, lighting, and AV systems at our barcade and restaurant venue. The ideal candidate will possess experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining professional audio and lighting systems for various live shows, DJ nights, themed events, and performances. Responsibilities include setting up and operating lighting, soundboards, microphones, projectors, speakers, and other AV equipment. Collaboration with event managers, DJs, performers, and chefs for theme-based AV coordination is crucial. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring equipment during live events, troubleshooting issues in real-time, and ensuring that all equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition. Regular checks on wiring, lighting, and sound systems for functionality and safety are required. Supporting rehearsals, coordinating with performers for sound/light cues, managing inventory of AV equipment, and staying updated with the latest AV technologies for recommending improvements are also key responsibilities. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sound & Light Technician in a hospitality or event-based setting.
