Job Summary The Store Manager in a manufacturing setup is responsible for the efficient management of raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and spare parts. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely material issuance, safe storage, and coordination with procurement, production, and dispatch teams to support smooth manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems. Ensure proper documentation of material inwards, outwards, and stock adjustments. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records. Coordinate with procurement and production departments for timely material availability. Monitor stock levels and raise alerts for reordering or overstocking. Ensure adherence to FIFO, LIFO, or other applicable inventory methods. Implement and maintain 5S and safety practices in the store area. Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and binning of materials. Requirements Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field; Diploma in Materials Management is an advantage. 5+ years of experience in store management in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
