Job Description

About the Role:

Atlan Developer

Responsibilities:

Set up and configure Atlan for enterprise-scale deployment.
Integrate Atlan with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, dbt, Looker, Tableau, etc.).
Develop and maintain Atlan connectors, APIs, and SDKs.
Automate metadata ingestion from various sources using Atlan APIs.
Customize Atlan to align with internal data governance policies.
Work closely with Data Stewards, Engineers, and Analysts to define and manage metadata standards.
Implement and manage data lineage, quality checks, and cataloging pipelines.
Support data discovery and access control processes.
Monitor Atlan platform performance and handle upgrades or maintenance.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Atlans APIs, SDKs, and platform architecture.
Solid knowledge of metadata management, data cataloging, and data governance.
Hands-on experience with modern data stacks: Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, etc.
Proficiency in Python and REST APIs.
Experience integrating with BI tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau.
Familiarity with data lineage, data quality, and access control concepts.
Understanding of data compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
