Job Description

Role Overview: The role involves ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of billing, Cash Applications, and providing support to other sub-functions such as Collections, Cash Management, etc. You will be responsible for executing all deliverables within agreed timelines and in line with process metrics targets. Additionally, the role requires supporting Audit, SOX testing, and collaborating with various functions within and outside India GSC. People management, including hiring, development, and performance management, is also a key aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Add value to the organization by optimizing manpower utilization and enhancing output quality. - Make logical decisions promptly, adapt priorities to meet expectations, and readily take on new responsibilities when needed. - Identify training needs for the team, ensure cross-training for all members, and establish backup plans. - Ensure seamless Audit processes and compliance with SOX requirements. - Review team operations, specialized transactions, and service quality. - Manage the team to meet deadlines, process metrics, and promptly address stakeholder queries. - Coach and develop team members, including recruitment, assessment, disciplinary actions, and performance documentation. - Implement controls for team processes, measure productivity, and communicate results according to standards. - Resolve discrepancies and address advanced systems issues. - Manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the regional process. Qualifications Required: - Education and Experience: - CA/CWA/MBA (F) with 2 years of experience - M. Com/CA(I)/CWA (I) with more than 3 yrs. experience - B. Com with more than 5 years of Finance & Accounting experience. - Technical Skills and Knowledge: - Solid understanding of Accounting Principles and the application to company practices. - Application of quality principles, process improvement, compliance adherence, and exceeding customer expectations. - Ability to interpret and provide information to meet audit and SOX testing requirements.
