Asst Manager ( Finance & Accounts) - Mallavalli , Vijayawada

Role & responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting:

• Manage plant-level financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and monthly plant performance reports.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation and product costing to optimize plant profitability.

Costing & Budgeting:

• Monitor raw material, production, and overhead costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted expenses, investigating discrepancies.

Compliance & Audit:

• Ensure adherence to tax regulations (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance applicable to the feed industry.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits and ensure proper documentation.
• Implement internal financial controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize financial risks.

Inventory & Procurement Control:

• Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to track material costs and control inventory valuation.
• Conduct stock reconciliations and monitor wastage to improve efficiency.
• Assist in vendor payments, price negotiations, and contract compliance.

MIS & Data Analysis:

• Generate financial dashboards and MIS reports for plant operations.
• Provide insights on plant profitability, working capital management, and cash flow.
• Support the senior management team with data-driven recommendations for decision-making.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and sales to ensure financial efficiency.
• Supervise junior finance executives and support staff in day-to-day activities.
