Key Responsibilities l Deep knowledge of the private equity market, including trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape. Market and industry research on both primary and secondary research basis l Assist in Portfolio management, quarterly and annual portfolio reporting. Proficiency in valuing PE fund interests, Net Asset Value and understanding the intricacies of different valuation methods. Run financial models for underlying companies (asset operating models) and fund level returns. l Participate in evaluation and analysis of secondary transactions and assets across stages (i.e. buyout, venture, growth equity, etc.), industries and geography. Ability to analyze complex financial data and market conditions. Construct an opinion around various investment opportunities and efficiently communicate in written materials l Prepare company profiles, investor profiles & portfolios, financial analysis including trading / transaction comparable, operational / financial benchmarking, etc. l Exposure to all stages of GP-led/ LP-led secondary transactions, supporting deal execution and process management l Experience in conducting thorough due diligence to assess the quality and potential of fund interests. Quantitative and qualitative due diligence on leveraged buyout, venture capital and other private equity limited partnership interests and their underlying company investments l Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, providing updates, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction l Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction Key Competencies l Education: Post-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.) l Experience: 2-7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a related field, with a focus on secondaries l Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel, Power Point, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously l Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the US secondaries market. In-depth knowledge of database such as Preqin, PitchBook, SecondaryLink, Capital IQ / Capital IQ Pro and other Secondaries-specific databases l Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
