Job Description

This is 1 year contract role with the scope of conversion / extention based on performance.

PHP Laravel Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using
Laravel (PHP framework)
.
Build and integrate
RESTful APIs
and
microservices
.
Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using
React.js
.
Work with
Node.js
for backend services, integrations, or API middleware when needed.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and product managers.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Contribute to architecture and design decisions for new modules and features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years
of professional experience in web development.
Strong proficiency in
PHP
and
Laravel framework
.
Hands-on experience with
React.js
(Hooks, Redux, functional components).
Exposure to
Node.js
(Express.js, middleware, API integration).
Solid understanding of
MySQL
/
PostgreSQL
and database design.
Proficiency with
RESTful APIs
,
JSON
, and
AJAX
.
Experience with
version control (Git)
and
CI/CD pipelines
.
Familiarity with
Docker
,
AWS
, or other cloud environments is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities in an agile team setup.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of
TypeScript
,
Next.js
, or
GraphQL
.
Experience with
unit testing
and
automated testing frameworks
.
Exposure to
microservices
and
event-driven architectures
.
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
