Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate T-SQL/SSRS Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in SQL Server development and reporting, who thrives on transforming business requirements into efficient, scalable database solutions and insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support applications reporting development needs.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
Design and build SSRS reports and dashboards tailored to business needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
Customize report layouts and formats to enhance usability and clarity.
Ensure high performance and scalability of database queries and reporting solutions.
Implement data validation and error-handling mechanisms to maintain data integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to T-SQL scripts, SSRS reports, and database performance.
Document database schemas, data flows, and report specifications for ongoing support.
Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on T-SQL and SSRS best practices.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Proven experience as a T-SQL Developer or Database Developer.
Strong command of T-SQL programming and SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

If you're interested in contributing to AI chatbot development using our internal AI platform, the following skills will be a plus:
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and chatbot frameworks.
Experience integrating backend data with conversational interfaces.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and webhook-based communication.
Ability to design conversational flows and user intents using AI tools.
Exposure to platforms like Microsoft Bot Framework, Dialogflow, Rasa, or similar.
Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application in conversational AI.
Proficiency with Python, JSON, XML, and other data formats.
Strong debugging skills in dynamic, user-facing environments.
Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to emerging AI technologies.

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 5-8 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.
