Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Receipt, inspection and proper storage of incoming materials
Issue raw materials, consumables and spares as per requisitions
Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP
Conduct periodic stock audits, cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
Identify slow-moving/obsolete items and recommend disposals or transfers
Optimize store layout to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency
Enforce safety standards and SOPs in material handling and store operations
Prepare and submit MIS reports, KPI dashboards and budget variance analyses
Maintain best practices and compliance requirements

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree or Diploma in Materials Management, Logistics, or related field
510 years of store management experience in cement or heavy-manufacturing sector
Hands-on expertise with ERP systems
Solid understanding of inventory control techniques and supply chain principles
Team-building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Attention to detail and high level of integrity
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
