Associate, SRE Ops, Site Reliability Engineering

As a member of the Group Technology and Operations (T&O) team at the bank, your role involves implementing and maintaining DevOps practices and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) processes to ensure high performance, security, and availability of banking applications and infrastructure. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and testing using CICD tools like Bitbucket and Grafana. Monitoring banking applications and infrastructure using tools like ELK stack, and proactively resolving issues to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will optimize application performance, manage capacity, and improve efficiency through data analysis using databases like PostgreSQL and SQL. Collaboration with development teams to establish coding best practices, and developing automation scripts using languages like Python and Groovy will be essential for success in this role. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related engineering roles is required. Hands-on experience with CICD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, and JFROG, as well as monitoring and logging tools like Grafana and ELK stack, is necessary. Strong knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL and programming languages like Python and Groovy is essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail are expected. You should be able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment and possess a strong knowledge of the Linux platform.,
