Job Description

As a Pre-Sales Solutions & Design Specialist at Ingram Micro, you will play a crucial role in engaging with customers, channel partners, and OEMs to gather business and technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include designing and proposing end-to-end network and security solutions across multi-vendor environments such as Juniper, Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco, and Firewalls for Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD-WAN, and Network Automation. You will prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD) based on customer requirements. Additionally, you will conduct Proof of Concept (PoC), product demos, and technical presentations. It will be your responsibility to perform wireless heatmapping and site surveys to ensure optimal coverage, capacity, and performance. You will also design and recommend firewall solutions for perimeter security, segmentation, VPN, and threat prevention. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with customers, channel partners, and OEMs to gather business and technical requirements. - Design and propose end-to-end network and security solutions across multi-vendor environments. - Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD) based on customer requirements. - Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC), product demos, and technical presentations. - Perform wireless heatmapping and site surveys. - Design and recommend firewall solutions for perimeter security, segmentation, VPN, and threat prevention. - Work on RFPs, ensuring complete technical compliance with requirements. - Provide top-level troubleshooting and optimization support for critical network and security issues. - Deliver product training sessions for customers, channel partners, and internal teams. - Configure and demonstrate platforms such as Juniper Mist, Aruba Central, Ruckus SmartZone, and Firewall solutions. - Maintain technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions. - Stay updated on emerging networking and security trends. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, BCA, B-TECH, or related field. - Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience with major vendors (Juniper, Aruba, Ruckus, Cisco) and Firewall solutions. - Strong knowledge in Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD-WAN, and Firewall architectures. - Relevant certifications preferred (JNCIA, ACA, RASP, CCNA, NSE or equivalent). - Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills. - Proven track record working with OEMs, channel partners, and customers.
