As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and data-driven insights, we are seeking a Deputy Manager for our Business Intelligence team. The role focuses on supporting the team's efforts with Axiom tools by creating relevant training materials and conducting regular training sessions for users. The successful candidate should be a collaborative team player, able to work seamlessly with colleagues from different areas to deliver training that is both efficient and strategically aligned. What You'll Be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include
- Design and Deliver Training: Develop comprehensive, engaging training materials, presentations, and tutorials tailored to diverse audiences to facilitate effective learning of Power BI tools and functionalities.
- Practical Support and Guidance: Provide hands-on support during training sessions, ensuring participants gain practical skills in data visualization, report creation, and dashboard development within Power BI.
- Needs Assessment and Customization: Assess training needs across different skill levels and organizational requirements, customizing content to maximize relevance and impact.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from trainees to refine and improve training programs and materials, ensuring ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
- Industry and Product Knowledge: Stay current with the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry trends to deliver up-to-date and relevant training content.
- Post-Training Support: Offer ongoing assistance and follow-up support to users, fostering self-sufficiency and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure training aligns with organizational data strategies, security standards, and technical requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot common Power BI issues and clarify best practices, empowering users to resolve challenges self-supportedly.
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist the Business Intelligence & Reporting team on strategic projects, contributing to the development of the function and expansion of BI capabilities.
