Associate Software Test Architect / Lead (Automation)

Role Overview: You are being sought after to fill the position of Associate Software Test Architect / Lead in the Automation QA team based in Ahmedabad. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and leading test automation strategies for large-scale and complex projects, requiring a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the test automation strategy and framework for multiple projects. - Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to incorporate testing into CI/CD pipelines. - Create scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation solutions. - Evaluate, choose, and implement suitable automation tools and technologies. - Lead a team of test engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality outcomes. - Review and enhance existing test frameworks and scripts. - Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure testability and quality. - Generate documentation related to test strategies, plans, and outcomes. - Be willing to adapt work shifts based on project requirements. - Contribute to special projects/assignments and undertake additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field. - 6-8 years of experience in software testing, emphasizing automation. - Demonstrated expertise in spearheading test automation initiatives for enterprise-level applications. - Proficiency in automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Katalon Studio, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, Postman, JMeter, Testsigma, etc. - Sound knowledge of programming languages such as Java or JavaScript. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps. - Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. - Strong problem-solving abilities and the aptitude to troubleshoot intricate systems. - Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.,
