Job Description

Design and develop both automated and manual test cases to validate product features. Run automated and manual tests as needed to validate product defect fixes and functionality. Work with the Engineering manager and a geographically distributed team to understand product requirements and features. Triage test failures on a daily basis. Contribute to QA reports and provide input on release metrics. Contribute to and validate product documentation. Participation in a team on-call rotation providing seven-day week out of hours coverage, including the provision of after-hours and weekend support work when required. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in a relevant field BS/MS or BTech (Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or another related technical field). Skills: Skilled in at least one common scripting language such as Python, Perl, or bash. Preferably Python . GNU/Linux with hands-on experience. General familiarity and experience with storage components e.g. SAS, SATA, RAID, NVDIMM, NVMe, Encryption, SSD, cluster concepts. Familiarity in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting multiple hardware components like NIC, NVDIMM, Drives, etc.., Basic knowledge of any one of the hypervisors like VMware, HyperV, RHEV.
