Associate R&D Engineer

The opportunity: As part of the team, you will be responsible for preparing technical specifications, specifying laboratory test equipment and processes, and providing recommendations for the acquisition and utilization of new technological equipment and materials within the set budgets and targets. Additionally, you may be involved in intellectual property evaluations and the development of patent applications. How you'll make an impact: You will develop and maintain testing strategies for the Quality Assurance of our Digital offerings, ensuring comprehensive test coverage by collaborating closely with software developers. Understanding requirements, you will design test cases that align with product specifications, execute test cases, manage defects, and communicate testing status effectively. In case of testing failures, you will analyze the root cause, open appropriate defects with sufficient findings, and prioritize quality, continuous improvement of tests, and test efficiency. Your role will involve contributing and supporting during and after Release, working in a multidisciplinary Agile team, conducting tests in various environments (e.g. QA, Staging, UAT, and Production), and participating in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Adhering to Design standards and reviews, coding standards, code quality checks, and reviews, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your background: To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in B.E/B.Tech (EEE/ECE/CSE) and possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Your expertise should include writing test plans, creating and executing test cases for web applications, and conducting UI testing. Experience in testing APIs using tools like POSTMAN, SOAPUI, and REST-Assured is essential. You should have a good understanding of defining and managing test cases and hands-on experience in functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing. Knowledge of test automation, performance testing, and security testing would be advantageous.
