Associate R&D Engineer

Role Overview: You will be working as a Software Developer in the IED Software platform team within R&D, where you will design, develop, and maintain the software platform for products globally. Your role will involve collaborating with an experienced development team that values teamwork and follows SCRUM methodology. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in developing and maintaining advanced embedded real-time systems for critical applications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and provide support for advanced embedded real-time software - Translate business requirements into software design concepts - Assist in troubleshooting complex customer support cases - Document the software - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in EEE/ECE/CSE - 3 to 5 years of experience in Embedded Software development - In-depth knowledge in RTOS (Real Time Operating System), with RTLinux or VxWorks preferred - Proficiency in RTOS, C++, and embedded C - Experience with software analysis tools, communication protocols/stacks, Industrial IoT, or distributed systems is a plus - Familiarity with managing agile software development (SCRUM) - Strong communication skills, team player attitude, and technical leadership ambition - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language (Note: The additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description),
