Job Description

As an Associate - QA Engineer at Xerox Holdings Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and stability of software applications by developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT), and Joint System Integration Testing (JSIT). You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Stakeholders, and QA Lead to understand project requirements from Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Acceptance criteria defined in User stories. Your responsibilities will include executing test cases, documenting test results and defects in Azure DevOps, performing functional and regression testing, and providing assistance on testing UAT and PROD defect fixes. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Working closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will identify, prioritize, and resolve defects and issues to ensure the quality of software applications. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-7 years of experience in software quality assurance focusing on System Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT). Proficiency in Agile principles, creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systems is essential. Experience in Web test automation tools like Java - Selenium, Playwright (Java Script) and Desktop Automation or RPA based tools such as Power Automate, UI Path, etc., will be beneficial. Furthermore, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively will be valuable assets in this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for success. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus, and you should be willing to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, mentor junior team members, and provide guidance on best practices in QA and Agile methodologies.
