Associate Project Engineer - HVDC Plant Electrical Design

Role Overview: As an Auxiliary Design Engineer, you will have the responsibility to understand technical requirements for auxiliary power system networks to ensure that equipment and stations run smoothly without interruptions, ultimately guaranteeing the safety of the end equipment and HVDC station as a whole. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate knowledge in the design of MVS, LVS, Diesel Generator, Auxiliary/distribution Transformer & battery system. - Prepare SLD, List of loads/load list/feeder list. - Estimate material, equipment sizing activity (Diesel Generator & Auxiliary/Distribution transformer) and cable sizing (LV & MV). - Revisit and update processes based on feedback. - Coordinate with project teams for necessary updates, support PLM activities. - Understand global standards and upgrade solutions accordingly for global projects. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in Design of auxiliary power for substation/power plant/ Oil and gas. - HVDC Experience preferred. - Knowledge of design principles, applicable standards, process structuring, and process management within the technical field. - Knowledge & Skills in Eplan or Elecdes, NX or Teamcenter and PLM Tools. - Knowledge & Experience in MS Office: Word, Excel. - Self-starter with the ability to own tasks through to completion, strong attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.,
