Associate Professor/Professor/Associate Dean - Commerce and Accounting

As a Professor/ Associate Professor/ Associate Dean for the department of Commerce & Accounting in the School of Economics & Commerce at MIT WPU, your role involves conducting lectures to enhance students" knowledge and ensure the quality of education. Your key responsibilities include: - Supporting the execution of the school's strategic plan - Participating in student activities like NCC, student welfare, cultural events, and counseling - Engaging in academic and examination duties, as well as working closely with students on projects - Organizing seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs - Supervising examinations and encouraging student participation in various programs - Writing and publishing research papers, developing innovative pedagogy, and contributing to teaching methodologies - Managing budgetary allocations and collaborating with industry partners for placements and collaborations - Conducting lectures, upgrading program curriculum, and addressing student and parent issues - Representing MIT WPU in academic forums, conferences, and seminars Qualifications required for this position include: - Ph.D. from high ranked institutions in Commerce or Accounting - Minimum of 3+ years of related work experience - Advanced verbal and written communication skills - Ability to react effectively to crises You will be working closely with internal stakeholders such as Dean, HOS, colleagues, faculty members, and students, as well as external partners including corporate bodies, academic networks, and accreditation bodies.
