As a Pension Scheme Administrator at Tesco, you will be responsible for managing and administering defined benefit pension schemes for the Trustee of the Tesco PLC Pension Scheme. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing accurate and efficient administration services for the pension schemes - Handling member queries promptly and effectively - Processing various member events such as retirements, deaths, transfers, pension increases, and benefit calculations - Ensuring compliance with scheme rules, legislation, and company procedures - Maintaining accurate records on pension administration systems - Responding to member queries via email or written correspondence and delivering excellent customer service - Generating statements, letters, and other communications to members - Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations including The Pensions Regulator's requirements, HMRC regulations, and GDPR - Identifying operational improvements and suggesting solutions to streamline administrative processes - Supporting the implementation of Trustee and scheme policy changes - Highlighting any risk and compliance issues for mitigation Qualifications required for this role include: - Knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes - Graduates level education in Commerce preferred - Experience in a customer service-based environment - Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word) - Strong understanding of benefit structures, calculation methodologies, and preparation of calculations & official correspondence About Tesco: Tesco in Bengaluru is a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to creating a sustainable competitive advantage for Tesco.
