Associate Manager - PCR Engineering

Role Overview: You will be working as an Associate Manager - PCR Engineering at Apollo Tyres Ltd, located in Chennai Office. Your primary responsibility will be to improve production facilities, reduce breakdowns, and enhance overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel, and production processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Electrical Mechanical Maintenance activities in the Stock preparation area, including Extrusion, Calendaring, Cutters/Slitters, and Bead Apexing. - Conduct regular PM activities, abnormality mapping, predictive maintenance to maintain equipment health. - Implement Engineering techniques to meet quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives. - Focus on achieving power efficiency and staying within the budget for Stores & spares, Repair & Maintenance. - Lead Kaizen implementation and plan and execute CAPEX projects. - Ensure proper documentation such as PM check sheets, why-why analysis, history cards, corrective action plans, and IATF documents are regularly updated. - Prioritize people and equipment safety during engineering activities and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns effectively. - Review deficiencies identified during corrective maintenance and ensure equipment availability targets are met. - Manage critical spares, inventory, and manpower effectively. Qualification Required: - B.Tech/BE (EEE) - 8 to 10 years of relevant experience Additional Details: Apollo Tyres Ltd is an international tyre manufacturer known for its leading tyre brand in India.
