Associate Manager- Mechanical Transport (Fire)

As a Senior Executive/ Assistant Lead - Mechanical Transport (E&M) at Adani Airports Holding Limited, your primary responsibility will be to support the daily maintenance and repairing of airport ground vehicles, baggage handling systems, runway removal machines, and other mechanical transport assets to ensure they operate safely and reliably for airport operations. In this role, you will perform hands-on maintenance tasks, adhere to safety and compliance standards, and provide operational support for urgent repair needs. Your contributions will help minimize vehicle downtime and ensure that all mechanical transport assets meet operational requirements for efficiency and safety. Your key responsibilities will include performing scheduled and routine maintenance tasks on airport mechanical transport assets, diagnosing mechanical issues using specialized tools, troubleshooting and conducting repairs on components, and coordinating with the Lead for guidance on complex repairs. You will also be responsible for conducting daily inspections of ground vehicles, providing prompt responses to urgent repair needs, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, adhering to safety procedures, managing inventory, collaborating with team members, and communicating effectively with key stakeholders both internally and externally. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in automotive or mechanical maintenance (e.g., ASE certification) are preferred, and training in airport operations or ground handling is an added advantage. You should have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or automotive maintenance, ideally with experience in airport ground support equipment or heavy vehicles. Familiarity with airport operational standards and compliance regulations, as well as strong experience with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for ground vehicles, will be beneficial in this position.,
