In the role of Associate Manager, Marketing & PR at Global Health X (GHX), you will be responsible for driving GHX's marketing and communication initiatives across various channels such as digital, PR, events, and community engagement. You will collaborate with internal teams, freelancers, agencies, and startups to create compelling narratives, manage campaigns, and enhance GHX's presence in the innovation ecosystem. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys brand-building, excels in fast-paced environments, and can seamlessly transition between strategic planning and hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities: - Drive GHX's marketing and communication initiatives including digital marketing, content creation, PR, events, and community engagement. - Manage the execution of marketing strategies through coordination with freelancers, internal teams, and agencies to ensure quality, adherence to timelines, and brand alignment. - Oversee activities related to social media, website management, newsletters, blogs, SEO, advertising, and media relations. - Develop and review content across various platforms, from social media posts and campaigns to press releases and email communications. - Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as impressions, engagement, CTR, CPL, and ROAS to optimize campaign outcomes. - Introduce innovative AI-driven marketing tools and healthcare-focused storytelling formats to enhance the impact of campaigns. - Collaborate with startups within GHX's programs to design and implement effective marketing strategies. - Manage external consultants, agencies, and freelancers supporting startup marketing projects. - Provide guidance on digital campaigns, brand positioning, and content creation to drive measurable growth and maintain brand consistency. - Assist startups in tracking and enhancing performance metrics including MQL/SAL conversions. - Foster engagement within GHX's startup, mentor, investor, and partner community. - Assist in planning and executing various events such as demo days, webinars, ecosystem meetups, and launches. - Coordinate media and PR activities related to partnerships, investments, and events. - Identify and leverage opportunities for visibility and storytelling across owned and earned media. - Monitor performance across campaigns (organic + paid) and derive actionable insights for optimization. - Analyze campaign budgets and ROI to identify growth opportunities. - Ensure consistency in GHX's global positioning and messaging. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication and marketing goals. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or PR, preferably within startups, innovation, or healthcare sectors. - Proficiency in digital channels including social media, SEO, email marketing, paid ads, websites, and content marketing. - Strong copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create concise, engaging, and impactful narratives. - Experience in managing freelancers, vendors, and agencies. - Familiarity with analytics and automation tools such as GA4, HubSpot, or similar platforms. - Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain brand tone and quality. - Creative, proactive, and organized mindset with a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Nice to Have: - Experience in a marketing or PR agency environment. - Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or tech-driven innovation. - Familiarity with community building or event management.
