Associate Manager / Manager / Senior Manager- Drives

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering & Quality Assurance, Commissioning and Commissioning Support, Project Management Co-ordination, and Sales and Purchase Support related to drives in the electrical & automation field, specifically in the metals industry. Key Responsibilities: - Study contracts and develop concepts with the best tecno-commercial solutions, prepare necessary documentation, and generate input for layouts. - Select and optimize AC and DC LT & HT drives based on project requirements, prepare technical specifications, review engineering drawings, and carry out inspections. - Commission AC and DC drives, mainly LT, and handle communication between drives and PLC systems. Prepare commissioning reports and ensure customer handover. - Work closely with project management to ensure timely project completion, analyze project scope, and design requirements. - Support the sales team with techno-commercial offers, negotiate with suppliers, evaluate technical aspects of offers, and identify vendors for critical items. - Utilize your knowledge of steel plant process automation, safety standards, and commissioning experience with ABB / Siemens AC & DC drives. Qualifications Required: - 4-11 years of experience in Electrical & Automation, Drives / Motors Process oriented Engineering, Commissioning, preferably in Rolling Mills, Processing Lines / Melt Shop. - Knowledge of Steel Plant process automation, safety standards, and calculation of Drives, Motors, MCC, etc. - Commissioning experience with ABB / Siemens AC & DC Drives.
