Associate Manager - Finance & Accounts (Audit & Compliance)

As an Audit & Compliance Associate Manager at UrbanPiper, you play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity and regulatory compliance across our global operations. Your expertise as a Qualified Chartered Accountant allows you to lead statutory audits, oversee month-end closing activities, prepare financial statements, manage tax compliance, monitor regulatory changes, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain internal controls and compliance frameworks. Your responsibilities include coordinating statutory audits across multiple entities, ensuring timely completion and minimal audit observations. You will lead month-end closing procedures, reconcile accounts, process journal entries, and prepare accurate financial statements. Additionally, you will manage tax compliance, maintain a compliance calendar, monitor regulatory changes, and collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 13 years of post-qualification experience in audit, tax, and compliance. You should have hands-on experience with month-end closing procedures, preparing consolidated financial statements, coordinating statutory audits, and managing tax compliance. Familiarity with SaaS accounting principles, multi-entity exposure, proficiency in MS Excel/Google spreadsheet, and strong communication skills are essential for this role. Success in this position will be demonstrated by seamless audit coordination, timely month-end closing, accurate financial reporting, timely compliance with filings, effective external coordination, proactive compliance monitoring, and support for the company's growth across multiple regions. You will also contribute to cost-effective approaches, process enhancements, and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
