This role is responsible for executing electrical maintenance activities for Balance of Plant and Coal Handling Plant systems, ensuring continuous operations. This role is pivotal for conducting AOH/COH to enhance system integrity and performance. This role also manages resources including business associates and maintains compliance with safety and legal standards to drive operational efficiency and business sustainability.Responsibilities
Lead Electrical BoP/CHP
Maintenance Strategy Execution
Execute proper electrical maintenance activities for BoP, CHP, including RO Plant, Sea Intake, FGD, Hydrogen plant, DM plant, Conveyor belts, Crusher house, Stacker Reclaimers, etc. and associated areas to ensure continuous operational reliability.Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and Standard Maintenance Plans (SMPs) for BoP/CHP and associated areas to reflect current best practices and operational requirements.Support the implementation of improvement projects for BoP, CHP, and associated areas.Execute comprehensive maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.Conduct annual overhauling and manage maintenance during outages, focusing on safe, timely, and efficient project completion and adherence to established protocols and standards.Perform execution of AOH and COH within budgets and allotted manpower.Troubleshoot equipment failures and conduct equipment failure analysis to prevent recurrence and improve system reliability.Maintenance And System Enhancement Operations
Execute proactive maintenance and testing to ensure equipment operates within permissible limits and suggest corrective actions, as needed.Monitor business associate's performance, bill certifications, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Perform timely completion of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and condition monitoring activities.Identify and act on opportunities for process and system enhancements to meet evolving operational needs and directives from leadership.Engage in repairing and refurbishment activities for associated area equipment, ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out to the highest standards.Perform the effective use of SAP for tracking maintenance activities, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring the timely closure of notifications.Inventory And Resource Management
Monitor the condition and availability of all Bop/CHP equipment, ensuring that Service Transformers, HT and LT Switchgear, HT and LT motors, DC Systems, DG Sets, Lifts in Chimney and Chimney lightings, Stacker Reclaimer Electrical Auxiliaries, Wagon Tripler are functioning optimally.Assist in the spares inventory management and development of vital indigenous spares for Bop/CHP equipment.Create PRs for materials and services and follow up with Techno commercial team for procurement and contracts awarding and end-to-end closing of process.Prepare SES (Service Entry Sheets) for completed services and tracking of payment cycle.Business Sustainability
Implement and follow IMS, AWMS, DISHA, ABEM and CHETNA guidelines within the department.Maintain compliance with legal and statutory requirements, including electrical license renewal and certifications for elevators.Mitigate hazardous processes, participate in mock drills, and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment through proper training and adherence to safety protocols.Digitalization And Automation

Education Qualification:
BE/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.Work Experience
11+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within power distribution.Preferred Industry
Experience in the power generation, transmission, or distribution industry, with a focus on BoP/CHP area maintenance.
