Job Description

Role Overview: As a talented Engineer in the Livable Places team at WSP, you will be involved in the development, design, and delivery of various transport schemes, focusing on walking and cycling, road safety, highway, and parking projects. Your work will have a lasting impact on the future, going beyond the expected norms. Key Responsibilities: - Undertake engineering tasks independently throughout the project lifecycle - Demonstrate technical expertise in Highways or Transport with a thorough understanding of relevant design standards like DMRB - Conduct checks and reviews of team designs and drawings - Ensure successful project delivery within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards - Manage and lead the team effectively, including recruitment and training activities - Attend and actively contribute to project meetings - Maintain clear communication with colleagues in India and the UK on project-related and technical matters - Provide training to junior colleagues on active travel schemes, highway design concepts, and Civil 3D software Qualifications Required: - BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering, preferably MEng/MTech in Highways/Traffic engineering with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the Highways/Transportation field - Membership or working towards membership of an associated Professional body - At least 2 years of experience working on UK projects is mandatory - Minimum of 4 years of experience working on international projects, including UK experience (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description) Role Overview: As a talented Engineer in the Livable Places team at WSP, you will be involved in the development, design, and delivery of various transport schemes, focusing on walking and cycling, road safety, highway, and parking projects.
