As an experienced professional in KYC/Client Onboarding functions, you will be responsible for the following key areas of responsibilities: - Performing timely Periodic Reviews for the international accounts managed from HK/SG/AU region. - Coordinating with clients and counterparties across multiple functions like Front Office, Compliance, AML, Operations, FATCA under business/client urgency. - Collecting all relevant constitutional documents by liaising with external clients and internal teams. Proficiency in Chinese language is strongly recommended. - Having a strong understanding of KYC requirements and conducting client due diligence on existing clients to identify changes in risk profile, including reputational and operational risk factors. - Performing verification checks with external data sources and screening tools to ensure compliance with Customer Identification Program and Internal AML policies. - Interacting with existing client accounts to address any tasks arising from periodic reviews. - Participating in testing enhancements to client due diligence databases and systems. - Resolving any issues from screening processes professionally and efficiently, with timely escalation of exceptions to the Regional Head of AML or Group Head of Compliance when necessary. - Maintaining a current database of all information, documents, financial reports, and news on accounts for Compliance vetting, Legal, and Internal Audit. - Identifying and executing process improvements, providing guidance and support on key process and technology initiatives to the business, and promoting ideas for process improvement. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in KYC/Client Onboarding functions, preferably within the banking industry. - Value-added skill in Mandarin language proficiency in basic reading, writing, and speaking. - Good understanding of constitutional documents and corporate structures. - Working knowledge of periodic review for equity and FI products. - Knowledge of HK SFC/SG MAS AML regulations will be an advantage. - Attention to detail, process-oriented mindset, research/investigative skills, proficiency in Word and Excel, strong time management, organizational, and relationship-building skills, along with keen investigative skills.
