Job Description

We are seeking a talented Associate Java Spring Boot Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications using Java and Spring Boot framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, as we'll as implementing best practices in coding and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Develop and maintain APIs for seamless communication between services
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment
Implement security and data protection measures
Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks

Skills and Tools Required:

Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git
Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus

As a Java Spring Boot Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the Spring Boot framework. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner, and participating in code reviews.

To succeed in this role you should have the following:

Strong proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring Boot framework.
Familiarity with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of relational databases and experience with SQL.
Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A problem-solving mindset and a passion for learning new technologies.
