Associate III - SQL Production Support

As a Production Support Analyst at UST located in Kochi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and performance of production systems by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents promptly. Your attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will be key in minimizing downtime and increasing the efficiency of our production environments. Your responsibilities will include identifying, diagnosing, and resolving production issues in a timely manner, continuously monitoring production systems, maintaining up-to-date documentation of systems and incident resolutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and proposing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong knowledge of production systems and software troubleshooting, proficiency with diagnostic and monitoring tools, experience in incident management and resolution, effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-team coordination, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously. Additionally, willingness to work in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 production support coverage is required. While not mandatory, familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks, experience with automation tools for monitoring and incident response, knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash), exposure to cloud platforms or containerized environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker), understanding of database management and query troubleshooting, prior experience working in Agile or DevOps teams, and technical skills such as SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and scripting knowledge will be beneficial.
