Associate II Trade Operations

The Trade Operations - FX/MM role in Chennai requires someone with 2 to 4 years of experience. Your key responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of assigned transactions and tasks, escalating issues when necessary, organizing work effectively, resolving stock or cash mismatches, taking responsibility for extra tasks or projects, handling client and stakeholder inquiries professionally, following internal procedures carefully, reporting risks or concerns honestly, sharing ideas to improve efficiency and service quality, collaborating with your team to create a positive work environment, and building strong working relationships with other teams, portfolio managers, dealers, and external partners to support daily operations. You should always be eager to learn more about transaction processes, actively involved in improving daily workflows, able to plan and prioritize work effectively, make sound decisions in routine situations, manage time efficiently, be a subject expert and mentor junior team members, and report any issues clearly and promptly on the same day they are identified. Essential knowledge and experience for this role include experience using the Aladdin platform, strong attention to detail, and skills in Microsoft Excel. Additional useful experience includes knowledge of derivatives and collateral management, experience in trade operations across asset types such as equities, fixed income, FX, money markets, familiarity with SWIFT messaging standards, understanding of corporate actions, including mandatory/voluntary events and income processing, and awareness of operational risks in the transaction and asset lifecycle.
