Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations, board setup, and rework of components in a semiconductor product development lab with minimal guidance. Your role will involve providing suggestions on processes/methods based on user requirements, ensuring compliance in lab audits, performing lab staging, scrapping tasks, inventory handling, board setup, SMD level rework, and first-level debug for low complexity motherboards. Additionally, you will be expected to ensure efficient operation and utilization of lab equipment, handle shipments, mentor assistant lab administrators, and set FAST goals for mentees. Key Responsibilities: - Provide suggestions on processes/methods as per user requirements - Ensure compliance in lab audits (internal and external) - Perform lab staging, scrapping tasks, and inventory handling - Ensure compliance to 6S process - Perform medium complexity board setup and SMD level rework - Perform first-level debug for low complexity motherboards - Ensure efficient operation and utilization of lab equipment/materials - Arrange for repair and calibration of major equipment - Handle inbound and outbound shipments using shipment management tools - Mentor assistant lab administrators and provide feedback on FAST goals - Support information governance activities and audit preparations - Configure basic lab setup and network - Create documentation for own work and peer review others' work - Track lab assets, monitor lab internal transfers, and prepare detailed reports on inventory operations - Perform periodic analysis for potential inventory problems and order new supplies - Consume and contribute to lab-related documents and sharepoint - Report status of assigned tasks and compliance to lab-related reporting standards - Mentor lab assistants and provide feedback on FAST goals Qualification Required: - Proficient in at least one Inventory management tool - Thorough understanding of hardware including desktops, handheld computers, motherboards, and barcode scanners - Knowledge of stock accounting programs like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Knowledge of customs clearance (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description) Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations, board setup, and rework of components in a semiconductor product development lab with minimal guidance.
